Important note
In order to be able to change your PIN code you must have registered your smartphone device as a passkey for your EU Login account. You can find instructions on how to use your device as a passkey here: Can I use passkeys with EU Login?
If you do not have set your device as a passkey for authentication, then you will have to completely remove the device from your account and re-enroll it. You can find instructions on how to remove authentication options from your account here: Lost access to authentication method.
In case you do not remember your PIN code you will have to modify it from the EU Login mobile app. Please follow the below steps:
- Open EU Login mobile app
- Go to Settings
- In the bottom right corner, click on the cogwheel icon.
- Click "Forgot PIN code"
- Enter your EU login credentials linked to the app and choose the passkey option from the authentication dropdown menu.
- Choose a new PIN code.
Your PIN code has been changed; you can close the app and connect again with your mobile device on your EU Login account.
Pay attention: updating your PIN code will reset the biometric authentication enrolment in the app.
