An application requires a second factor authentication, but I do not have access to it anymore

If you do not have access to your configured second factor(s) anymore, you will have to erase all registered phone numbers and mobile devices registered with your EU Login account.

This action does not require you to use a second factor and will remove all phone numbers and devices linked to your account, you will then be able add new ones.

To do so, please follow these steps:

 

 

  1. Clear your cookies by following one of these procedures depending of your browser:
  2. Only after clearing your cookies, navigate using your browser to My Account
  3. Login with your email address and password
  4. Click on "My Account"
  5. Click on “Delete all my devices and eID (PANIC)”
  6. A confirmation message appears. Click on “Delete” to confirm
  7. A confirmation message appears, and the system automatically logs you out
  8. You can now follow the User Guide or the video material below to add your new mobile phone number or others second factor mechanisms to your EU Login account
