What MFA alternatives can I use if I don't have internet on my mobile device?

In case you do not have internet connectivity on your smartphone or mobile device, you can still use the EU Login mobile app with the QR code, or other multi-factor authentications options.

Account Type

The EU Login mobile app can be used with QR code authentication option which does not require internet connectivity. Of course in order to use it, the EU Login app needs to be installed and initialised before it can be used offline. 

 

To use the QR code option, please follow these steps: 

  1. Choose the "EU Login Mobile App QR code" authentication option from the drop down menu on your computer screen and click next
  2. Open your EU Login mobile app and select the "Scan QR code" option, and use your mobile device to scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen which will generate a one-time password
  3. Type the one-time password on your computer in the field called "Code generated by your app" and click the Sign In button to proceed
