EU Login Mobile app installation

The below will guide you through the installation of the EU Login mobile application on your device, how to use it once installed and provide additional information in case you are facing any issue.

Have two IT devices at your disposal 

  1. Your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), for the installation and long-term use of the EU Login mobile app.
  2. An internet-connected computer device, during the installation of the EU Login mobile app.

Ensure you can access the mobile applications store from your mobile device (Google Play for Android or AppStore for Apple).

For the EU Login mobile app:

  1. Download and only use its latest version.
  2. During the installation of the EU Login mobile app, allow EU Login mobile app notifications and access to the camera on your mobile device.
  3. If you have uninstalled the EU Login mobile app on your mobile device and reinstalled it and you are now facing issues to use it:

Regarding your mobile device:

  1. Protect it with a Screen Lock (PIN, biometrics...).
  2. If you use an Android mobile device, verify and adapt the time to take action from the Settings and Accessibility menu to make sure you have enough time to click on the notification that will be sent to your mobile device during the below procedure.

1. On your mobile device, go to Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), search for and install the EU login mobile app.

2. Open the EU Login Mobile App

You’ll see the "Welcome" screen.

3. Tap "Register my device" to start the setup and then click "Continue".

 The app presents an overview of the registration steps:  

  • Go to your EU Login account.  
  • Add a mobile device.  
  • Choose a PIN.  
  • Set biometrics (optional).  
  • Tap "Continue".

4. On your computer – access EU Login

5. Select "Manage my mobile devices".

6. Click "Add a mobile device".

7. Fill the required fields:

  • A device name (no spaces),
  • A 4-digit PIN,
  • Confirm the PIN.
  • Then click Submit.

8. Return to your phone and tap "Continue"

9. Scan the QR Code

A QR code is now displayed in your browser.

On your phone:

  • The app opens the Scan the QR code screen automatically.
  • Point your camera at the QR code.
  • Once scanned,  tap "Continue".

10. Create Your PIN Code

On your phone:

  • Enter a 4-digit PIN code for the EU Login Mobile app.
  • Confirm the PIN.
     

This PIN will be used to approve login requests.

11. Enable Biometrics (Optional)

You may enable:

  • Fingerprint/ Face recognition (Android)
  • Face ID (iOS)

12. Single Authentication Prompt:

If enabled, the app will ask you to authenticate once.

13. Activate Biometrics Later

You can also skip and activate biometrics later in Settings.

14. Tap  "Finish registration".

Your device has now been successfully registered.


Important notes

  • Each EU Login Mobile App can be linked to only one EU Login account, and vice versa.
  • If you change or reset your device, you’ll need to register it again.

Any issues?

If you have uninstalled the EU Login mobile app on your mobile device and reinstalled it and you are now facing issues to use it: 

  1. Go to your EU Login account and delete all mobile devices already linked to your EU Login account.
  2. Make sure to clear all data and cache from the EU Login mobile app before trying to enroll it again.
  3. Uninstall the EU Login mobile app from your mobile device.
