I have requested an SMS challenge code but have not received it, what can I do?

In case you do not receive the EU Login SMS, please try the following:

  1. Make sure to write the phone number in the international format as displayed under the "mobile phone" field on the EU Login page
  2. Make sure not to introduce any spaces when typing your phone number.
  3. Restart your mobile phone so to reconnect it to the cellular network
  4. If possible, try to insert your SIM card into another mobile phone
  5. Check with your provider if there is no issue on the provider's network
  6. If your phone model has an SMS Spam folder, please check if the SMS was flagged as Spam. To recover messages flagged as spam, please see the documentation applicable to your mobile phone, Android or iPhone 

 

In case you cannot receive any SMS because you have no signal or your service is unavailable due to your location (e.g., while travelling in China), you will have to use another authentication method.
